Monastic Media ads portal
Ads portal terms
Last updated 18 October 2026
- Nothing runs until you approve it
- Prepaid wallet, spent only on your ads
- 18% GST on the full top-up, with a tax invoice
- Unspent balance refundable any time
These terms cover the Monastic Media ads portal at dashboard.monastic.media/ads-portal. There, a business signs up, approves ads, adds funds to a prepaid ad wallet and runs ads on Facebook and Instagram.
The portal is run by ECOMFIRST VENTURES (trading as Monastic Media), 401, 4th Floor, Kalp Business Center, Citylight, Surat, Gujarat 395007, India, GSTIN 24DIFPP5850R1ZI ("we", "us"). These terms are separate from the tools shop terms.
1. Who can sign up
- The portal is for businesses in India that serve customers in India.
- You must be at least 18 and allowed to act for the business you sign up.
- Your business name, e-mail and WhatsApp number must be true and kept up to date.
- You sign in with Google or with a code we e-mail you. Keep that e-mail account safe: anything approved from your portal is treated as approved by you.
- We may check a new account and ask for more details before any ad runs.
2. What we do
- We prepare proposed ads from the details and photos you give us. The text is written with AI, as the privacy policy explains.
- When you approve a campaign, we set it up on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) from Monastic Media's own ad account. Your Facebook Page is the advertiser shown on the ad. It runs in the places, on the dates and with the budget you approved.
- We keep spend inside the budget you approved. The portal shows you the spend, the enquiries and your invoices.
- We do not run your Page, post for you, or reply to your customers.
3. What you approve
Nothing runs until you approve the proposed ads and the campaign: places, dates and budget. We keep a record of what was approved, when, and from which account.
The ads are your ads. You are responsible for what they say about your business being true and lawful, including prices, offers, claims and any licence your business needs.
We may refuse a proposed ad or a campaign that we believe breaks the law, your profession's rules or Meta's rules. We will tell you why.
4. The prepaid ad wallet
- You add funds before ads run. Payments are taken by Razorpay. The smallest and largest top-up are shown before you pay.
- Before you pay, the portal shows how much of the top-up is credited to your wallet for ads and how much is GST. Your wallet is credited once the payment is confirmed.
- The wallet is a closed balance. It can be used only for Monastic Media's ad services through this portal. It is not a bank account or a deposit, earns no interest, and cannot be transferred to anyone else. It cannot be withdrawn as cash, except as a refund under the refund policy.
- Your available balance is your wallet balance minus the budgets set aside for campaigns that are still open.
- Your unspent balance is refundable at any time on request, in full, with no deduction.
- There is no fee on a balance you do not use. After 11 months with no activity we send you a reminder. At 12 months we refund the balance to the original payment method, or ask you for bank details.
5. Campaign budgets
- When you approve a campaign, its budget is set aside from your available balance. That money is used for that campaign only.
- We give the campaign the same budget and end date on Meta, so Meta's own system stops at that amount.
- Spend is taken from your wallet as Meta reports it. Meta's reports can arrive late. The final spend of a campaign is what Meta reports for it.
- A campaign stops when its budget is used up or its dates end. You can pause or cancel it in the portal at any time.
- When a campaign ends, is paused or cancelled, or is turned down by Meta, the part of its budget that was not spent goes back to your available balance.
- If Meta delivers more than the budget you approved, Monastic Media bears the difference. You are never charged more than you approved.
6. Fees and GST
- There is no Monastic Media fee (0%) during the launch period.
- Any future fee is shown in the portal before you approve each campaign. It is never applied to money already added.
- Any fee charged on a budget that was not spent is refunded with it.
- Meta invoices Monastic Media for the ads, and Monastic Media invoices you the full amount. So GST at 18% applies to the whole top-up: CGST 9% + SGST 9% in Gujarat, IGST 18% outside Gujarat.
- The portal is for businesses in India. A tax invoice is issued for every top-up, in your business name. Add your GSTIN in the portal to have it on the invoice.
7. No promised results
Meta decides who sees each ad, when, and at what cost. We do not promise any number of views, clicks, enquiries, calls or sales, or any cost per enquiry.
The numbers Monastic Media publishes about its agency work are not results of this portal.
8. Meta, your Page and Meta's rules
- You need a Facebook Page that you own or manage. You give Monastic Media's business permission to advertise for that Page from Facebook's own settings. You never share a password with us. You can remove that permission at any time, and your ads stop.
- Every ad must follow Meta's terms and advertising standards. Meta can turn down, limit or remove an ad, or restrict a Page or an account. We cannot overrule Meta's decision. We tell you in the portal when that happens.
- Meta's lead forms must link to a privacy policy for your business. If your business has none, its forms link to the simple one Monastic Media provides: the lead form privacy notice.
9. Business categories
- We check your business category when you sign up and before each campaign. Some categories are not accepted. The list is shown in the portal when you choose your category.
- Ads about housing, jobs, and financial products and services (such as loans and credit) fall under Meta's special ad categories, where Meta limits who can see them.
- Social issue, election and political ads are refused.
- Some professions have their own rules on advertising. For example, chartered accountants may run information ads only, under ICAI's rules. You must follow your profession's rules, and we may limit proposed ads to fit them.
10. Your content and your customers
- You must own the photos, logos and text you give us, or have the right to use them. You keep all rights in them.
- You allow us to use them to make, run and show your ads, and to show them to you in the portal. We do not use them to promote Monastic Media without your permission.
- The enquiries your ads bring in are yours. You are responsible for how you use them: reply to the people who asked, do not send them messages they did not ask for, and follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- We hold enquiries for you only to show them in your portal, as the lead form privacy notice explains.
11. Pausing, cancelling and closing
- You can pause or cancel any campaign in the portal.
- You can close your account at any time, from the portal or by writing to hello@monastic.media.
- When an account closes, we stop its campaigns and wait for Meta's final spend (up to 3 days). Then we refund the whole remaining balance within 7 working days.
- We may pause your campaigns or your account if a payment is reversed or disputed, your category is not accepted, Meta restricts your Page or our access, your details look false, or we suspect fraud or abuse. We will tell you why by e-mail unless the law stops us.
- If we close an account for a breach of these terms, the same full refund of the unspent balance applies.
12. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to your available balance plus any fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost business, or for what Meta does or decides. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. For any change that affects money, we tell you by e-mail 15 days before it applies. Other changes apply from the date they are posted here.
A change never alters a campaign budget you have already approved.
14. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Surat, Gujarat have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.
15. Contact and grievances
Write to support@monastic.media from the e-mail address of your account.
Complaints can also go to our grievance officer, Om Panwala (Grievance Officer, Monastic Media), at support@monastic.media. See Contact and grievances.
